The Arguetas

Sometimes, the connections we make in one area of our lives lead to something special in another. That's exactly what happened with the wonderful Argueta family! I first met Katie through Made for Mothers, a great virtual and local community for mom business owners. We quickly connected because Katie, with her fantastic eye at Argueta Abode Designs, is helping me with my own master bathroom and bedroom project.

It was through this connection that I had the chance to photograph her super sweet family during an outing to Jones Point Park.

The Arguetas are a joy to be around. Their family dynamic is filled with genuine warmth and playful energy. Our session felt more like a relaxed morning spent with friends than a photoshoot. We explored the park, taking in the beautiful light and just letting their natural interactions unfold. Many of the best moments came from simply watching the kids, completely absorbed in their own play and interactions. And throughout the entire gallery, Katie's love for her family shines through—you can see it in every glance, every smile, and how she relishes their hugs.

My goal for the session was to capture the joyful, connected, and relaxed mood that truly defines them. There’s something so special about documenting families just being themselves, and the Arguetas made that easy. It was a pleasure to photograph their beautiful connection and create images that show the love and happiness they share.
